THE CHAMBRES STORY
The story starts in 2012 when Sandra Näsström designed and made a super-light and very sensual little slip for the models to wear under couture gowns at a fashion show at her concept salon Chambre Separee in the heart of Stockholm.
The slips felt so good that the girls insisted on keeping them on and wearing them as dresses when they went out dancing that evening.
Sandra was delighted and inspired by the idea of something perfectly adaptable that could be worn 24/7, she made more in dusty blue, dusty pink, lilac and ruby red and decided to name her new slip-dress Natalie, after the first model who wore it.
And so was born the first Chambres piece.
Today, Chambres has flourished and become a luxury loungewear and lifestyle brand that fuses elegant and easy-wearing functional design with timeless style to provide for the modern woman’s everyday needs.
Chambres’ simple philosophy is to create beautiful mix match ready-to-wear and easy-to-care-for pieces that work for you wherever you are.
Chambres is made for you to enjoy a feeling of sensual ease.
Any occasion, any location, day or night.
THE CHAMBRES PIECES

THE CHAMBRES SYMBOL
Water is an important inspiration for Chambres and its collection.
The Chambres logo is derived from water crystals, captured by the Photography of the Japanese scientist Masaru Emoto, and symbolizes the eternal loop of the wonders of nature and the universe, combined with the simplicity of pure forms.
THE CHAMBRES FOUNDER
I grew up in the far north of Sweden, watched over by my mother’s beautiful sunflowers and intrigued by the hidden depths of the blue Baltic sea.
I had room to dream.
Nature was my protector and I was at my happiest running barefoot on the grass, exploring freely and always curious to know what was around the next corner.
So travel came naturally to me. When I was eighteen I set off around the world, ending up in Los Angeles. There was something about California that made me stop. It was immediately open and vibrant, but mysterious underneath and I just felt that I had arrived. My new surroundings inspired me, and I studied design and pattern making at art school and made my first clothes. I set up a studio where I cut and stitched them, and then I opened a small store next door where I sold them.I was liberated and my work reflected that. My dresses took inspiration from the most glamourous 40s Hollywood films and the let-loose Grunge scene of the time, and were simply cut, naturally elegant and made from the most wonderful-to-wear fabrics.
Everything I made then, just like everything I make now for Chambres, was light, sensual and encapsulated a feeling of freedom.
These are the qualities that are important to me.
Now I live and work in Paris, where, again, I feel that I have arrived. I still like to run barefoot on the grass and I still like to travel, but now my journey is Chambres.
And it would make me very happy if you would like to join me on it.
